The Pretenders

I was producing a band called xxxxxxx and they had a song that was not being used. I asked if we could redo the song and possibly submit it to The Pretenders for consideration. The lead singer sounded just like Chrissie and I felt it would be a great match. So I sent it to Jimmy Iovine….he loved it. It so happened that The Pretenders had just finished the Album. Somehow Jimmy convinced Chrissie that “Light of the Moon” was a hit and the next thing I know I was on my way to California and the Band was being asked to return to the studio. I could not have been happier with the outcome.
