GRAHAM PARKER 1982
I totally needed this tour. It was well organized and just what my rhythm guitar chops needed. Graham Parker and Brinsley schwarz were quite a team and when I came on, what you got was three great guitarist . This tour was relatively civilized and calm, after having toured with Iggy Pop. Graham Parker was a breath of fresh air, which I surely needed. Graham was a true showman and very concerned and willing to give his all to make sure that the fans got their moneys worth. The shows were long and Brinsley and I got on very well. Brinsley was soft spoken as was Graham and so was I, I needed the break..
You are amazing Mr. Alomar
Thanks johannes,
It’s fans like you that keep us all straight. Thanks for your insight.
Carlos
Hi Carlos, this was 1982, not 1984, see here:

And Brinsley’s last name is Schwarz. BTW, the Rumour are back as Graham Parker’s backing band right now. It was funny noticing that you you had already backed up Bowie in 1980 on the Carson show together with Rumour drummer Steve Goulding!
Cheers, Johannes
