Robin Clark

Robin Clark is an American vocalist best known for her work with the UK band-Simple Minds on their “Once Upon a Time” album and tour. Robin has a rich history of working in all fields of the entertainment industry; recording studios; national and international commercials; T. V.; radio;touring and on Broadway.
Robin Clark’s life has been more than a “Dream Come True”.  A native New Yorker who grew up in a home filled with music and entertainment.  In 1984 Robin was discovered by John Hammond, who released her solo album “Surrender” with songs written by some of the most prestigious songwriters in the business as well as featuring David Bowie’s Band.
Robin has appeared in the major motion picture “Keeping The Faith”
Starring Ben Stiller, Jenna Elfman and Ed Norton as well as providing vocals on Sound tracks for Disney films “Tarzan”, “Aladdin “and the FOX film “Anastasia”. Robin has also performed for the Broadway productions of “The Wiz” and  “Got To Go Disco”.
Her Television appearances include: Sesame Street, The Conan O’Brian Show, Saturday Night Live, David Letterman, Jay Leno, Ellen DeGeneras Show, Vanessa Williams’ “Home For Christmas” special,  Good Morning America, The Today Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show and “Looking For Elvis” a T.V. Special.
Robin has received numerous Gold and Platinum CDs for her contribution to the music industry. She has had the good fortune to work for some of the music industries most well respected and award-winning producers. She has sung for some of the premier artist of our times including Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, Bette Midler, Michael Bolton, Ringo Starr, Shania Twain, Bob Dylan, Leona Lewis, Simple Minds, Chic, Scissor Sisters, , Teddy Pendegrass, Natalie Cole, George Benson, Al Green, Tina Turner, The Blues Travelers, Spin Doctors, Blur, Barry White, Frankie Valli, Moby,  Dolly Parton and Aretha Franklin…just to name a few.

But…. history is still being made. Currently she is the voice of the “Orange Bear clock” for the award-winning Nickelodeon television show ‘Team Umizoomi” as well as recording with Glee’s-Matthew Morrison and currently working with Jocelyn Brown on her Christmas Duets CD.
